As Shaun Boyd says himself; there's a way of doing everything with the tools you have. Jointing long boards is no exception.

No matter if you're a pro or a hobby woodworker, you will rarely ever think to yourself—"I have all the tools I want and need, I'm not buying any more"! We never have everything we want. There's always just that "one more tool". For many woodworkers, that "one more tool" will be a jointer.

So what to do? Woodworkers are a fairly industrious bunch. We can be adept at figuring out ways to do things with the tools at our disposal. In the video below, Shaun Boyd has done just this. It's well worth subscribing to his channel on YouTube.
